i'm waiting for something to fall right into my lap when really i should be making lists and making decisions. but really any decision i make at this point would be just for the sake of making a decision. arbitrary and forced only by the ticking clock. i used to believe in the notion of opportunities falling into laps, but learned that 20 minutes into waiting for a bus leads to teetering levels of regret. very unhealthy for the mentals.

also, strangers are a beautiful thing.

I really like putting "Re:" in the subject line of work emails even though it is redundant. I still do it because it's what everyone else does.

Yesterday while it took me forever to fall asleep, I thought about the fact that 365 days has become really a small number to be in a year. There are only 12 months of 31 days... 52 weeks...52 weekends...104 weekend nights...104 weekend days. And if I only live on the weekends because I work all week... I only have 104 days. Every 104 days I turn a year older. So in 1040 days I will be 31. So 10 years is actually only 2.85 years. I am going to be 10 years older in 2.85 years.

And that disturbs me quite a bit. am i right? am i?

it is better to turn off the light across the room before you get into bed instead of thinking you'll do it later because the truth of the matter is that once you get in and sit in your bed for 30 minutes you will not want to get up and you will put off going to bed because you will put off getting up to go turn off that light that could have been turned off on the way to the bed but you didn't invest and so you fail and go to bed after 1 and then you wake up when you're supposed to have already left and then you miss the bus and so on and so forth

i have mentioned this before but i really feel strange when getting off an elevator after having shared it with someone on the way up i find myself feeling like i should say thank you to someone

this year:

i went to my first non-familial wedding and it was great fun minus the fact that i had several injuries to the mouth. i was not able to eat the all-you-can-eat bruschetta, but it concluded the hardest summer of my life. plus, i had kevin taste it for me and describe it, so basically i ate it.

i realized how disgusting it is not to floss the teeth. i discovered this through my beef's sister's fb status which said something along the lines of "doesn't it make more sense to brush your teeth after you floss your teeth? because how come not everybody knows that" which got me to thinking that there is a lot of buildup in between the teeth that toothbrushes can not reach

i graduated! barely though, but i did. i'm done until i forget that i hate school!

this yearrrrrrrr i turned 21 and realized that the body can not afford to drink alcohol all the time

i took out my contacts more than i did last year; i almost used the whole bottle that i bought last year for the new year

i wrote long papers, not incredibly well, but i did them...i did them.

today though, i decided that this rape fantasy murder is getting way too much media attention; they have been talking about it for the whole day and i think it is not worth it. i think one hour would have been enough.

started using eyebrow pencils after my mom/sister kept telling me to do so --yes, it does make a difference

neglected my nails beyond belief

when you walk into the stall with a very full bladder and see a toilet seat cover dispenser with a lever that pushes out a single toilet seat cover pre separated and all ready to place on the toilet seat it brings joy to my life because personally i am really bad at punching out the middle part without ripping the whole thing apart. but sometimes guys let me tell you i will gently place it on the seat only to witness the whole damn thing fall into the toilet, and so then sometimes i am very discouraged and i give up and let my tush risk getting buttmites because sometimes, guys, it is just not worth it.

also, this had been brought to my attention in or about the 10th grade but let's discuss it again: how awkward is it when the person in the stall next to you has extremely high bladder pressure. though i understand it is an indication of good health you cannot deny that it is kind of strange. the same goes for extremely low bladder pressure. think about it and tell me what you think.

- when i spread apart chloe's face...i was like omg you look familiar...and then i went to chinese class and realized she looked like my teacher...
- how does one go about catching up on the past 21 years of current events...i wonder...
- my music library is so outdated...i would update it with the new top hit songs so i can be hip (again) the only problem is that i just don't like the new top hit songs. this means that i am getting further and further from knowing what to get my nieces and nephews for christmas...i'm becoming that aunt. it's happening.
- i've dug myself a nice little hole and crawled right in... it's pretty comfy right now but i'm not sure how long it will be that way... all i know is that when it starts pouring i will without a doubt drown in the mud.
